Merits of Double-Ended Shear-Beam Type Load-Cells Used in BPL electronic weigh bridge.

Double Ended Shear beam

• No con strainers required as it actually has two load cells in a single until and can take both horizontal as well as vertical Load Thus the weighing is very accurate.
• As it has unlink floating type assembly, it can withstand any type of loading Hence no repetitive services required.
• The civil work required is very simple and less costly.
  

Compression or Others

• Constrainers are must with compression type as the horizontal load component which is caused by application of brakes of vehicles is nullified or absorbed by con strainers.
• The alignment of con strainers can get shifted by continuous weighment within a period of six to eight months. Hence constant servicing required.
• As con strainers have limited vertical deflection,depth of main beams and hence of civil work is increased. So, installation is very thicky and laborious resulting in high cost.
  

Electronic Weigh bridge monitor (SIC & SWC Indicators)

BPL Electronic Weigh bridge Terminal is specially designed to withstand the peculiar environmental conditions prevailing in the weigh-cabin. The until con operate easily at temp upto 60 deg.C . Thus no air-conditioning is required for weigh cabin.

SWC Indicators

This is a simple indicator which shows only weight. Has LED type seven segment display facility also provided.

SIC Indicators

The SIC Indicator is interfaced with an IBM Keyboard for data entry which is standard and available anywhere. Hence has on advantage over feather touch type of keys/ key boards, which are custom built end have o very short life. Thus the keyboard used in BPL Weigh bridge is user friendly. BPL Engineers is the first company in India to achieve in house load cell cornering and calibration at its full load with the help of highly sophasticated machines. At the factory itself, load cells are calibrated before installation, calibration being traceable to proper standards thus eradicating the need of manual labour required to lift and place the weights physically at each corner of the platform for cornering and calibration. Therefore, BPL Weigh bridge can be installed within a day of erecting the platform, consequently saving the time and money of the customer.
